    Canyon Lake is a small yet beautiful place located about 25 miles to the west of New Braunfels and San Marcos and roughly 40 miles to the north of San Antonio.

    It is also positioned adjacently to the world renowned Canyon Lake which releases its water deposits to another famous water body, the Guadalupe River. The lake’s surface area reaches roughly 8,230 acres and has a shoreline of about 80 miles. The area prides itself in its picturesque scenes highlighted by spectacular lake and waterfront views, as well as rich wildlife such as roadrunners, white tailed deer, and foxes. And there’s no shortage of mountainous terrains or camping and hiking spots.

    But on top of it all, Canyon Lake takes pride in its fun and exciting water activities, including sailing and boating, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, parasailing, and scuba diving. If you haven’t tried these things, maybe it’s high time that you experience them. This is definitely one of the grandest water fun escapades anywhere.

    Now if you want to spell fun differently, there’s also also golf, campgrounds, a yacht club, and a lot more. You can also try hiking on the hilly terrains and get a chance to relax, enjoy, and see Mother Nature at its grandest.
