We Set Out to Bring the Best Wines of Italy to Texas.
Traveling through the unknown parts of Italy, Cross Mountain Vineyards curates only the best Italian wines to bring back to Texas. from our travels we bring home only small batch, artesian wines, exclusive to our winery and for our club members.
In 1847, German immigrant John Christian Durst was assigned a 10 acre plot in Fredericksburg, Texas, which included a 120' mountain. Durst pushed through the brush and discovered the remains of a wooden cross. Durst erected the cross to honor the land God had provided his family.
A winemaker himself, Durst was know to value his faith, family and friends over a good glass of wine. Four generations later, we hope our wine provides time for you to reflect on how important your faith, family and friends are.

We wanted to not only bring our favorite wines to Texas, but the whole experience. Inside our tasting room you will find Faith, Family and Friends. Take a guided tour through our wines with our wine experts. They will share their knowledge of wine and good Italian fun.
