Esperanza Vineyard broke ground on March 3, 2000 in Spring Branch in the Texas Hill County. The primary planting block was only 1 acre then with some Merlot and French Colombard. Since then, the northern block has expanded to approximately 3 acres of Sauvignon Blanc with a fruit orchard.
In 2012, 2 more acres were added at 2 of the southern blocks - named The Great Oak and Jeff's Ridge. The Great Oak sections will be home to more Sauvignon Blanc and Jeff's Ridge will produce Tempranillo.
